Requirements for Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program: Gateway to Canadian Permanent residency

Who are eligible for Saskatchewan PNP Immigrant Nominee program?
SINP is a pathway for Canada PR. The express entry through SINP has been established by Government of Canada and province of Saskatchewan. The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee program is for non-Canadian applicants who wish to reside in Saskatchewan or Province of Saskatchewan nominates applicants for Canada PR.

What are the requirements for Saskatchewan PNP eligibility?
The SINP requirements for express entry in the province are following:
- The applicant would require an express entry number certified by IRCC’S express entry pool prior to applying for SINP.
- A Job Seeker Validation Code.
In cases where the candidate has been issued a new Express Entry Profile number and job seeker validation code it is mandatory to notify government officials.
- Language Credentials are a must for Saskatchewan PNP eligibility.
The candidate is expected to provide valid language test results confirming that he/she meets the minimum requirements set Government of Canada. Further, the test results should match the language levels declared in your express entry profile. The test results should not be older than 2 years at time of application and from a designated testing agency such as IELTS, CELPIP or TEF.
- Educational/Training credentials are another factor to be kept in check for SINP requirement.
Applicant must have completed minimum on one year of post secondary education or training leading to a degree, diploma or certificate in a trade similar to Canadian education system.
The government portal provides a list of documents stating the desired certificates and proof required for Saskatchewan PNP eligibility.
- Work experience credentials for express entry.
Candidate should have completed one year of full time (minimum 30 hours/week) paid work experience in skilled occupation over the past 10 years as listed under NOC O,A or B.
- Proof of employment
A reference letter and proof of employment for each job position listed by candidate for point assessment grid.
- Proof of Professional status /licensure in case it is applicable.
- Proof for Settlement funds and plans for living in Canada. The IRCC provides tools to create plans for the same.
- Proof of relations in Saskatchewan if applicable should be mentioned for claiming points under grid system.
- Proof of previous work experience in Saskatchewan if applicable. It should be for minimum of 12 months.
- Proof of education in Saskatchewan if applicable.
- Identity and Civil status documents. Further, documents would be required for accompanying spouse and dependent children if any.
- Valid passports for the application process.
It is recommended that the candidate should check the occupation is not categorized under excluded list as per government of Saskatchewan.
