The third party like , education agents and education providers can now lodge visa applications on behalf of students, since June this year, under ‘Apply on Behalf Service’. Where education agents are legally allowed to provide immigration advice to offshore students visa application only, the education providers can only help students complete and upload the form online as they are not allowed to provide immigration advice.
While using ‘ Apply on Behalf’service, education agents and providers will have to create a RealMe login and also create their own immigration ONLINE account on the Immigration New Zealand website. This account will show a summary list of applications and PDF versions of application forms and supporting documents that third party will submit to immigration ONLINE on behalf of students.
The further information regarding all this is available in a set of information flyers that explains how ‘Apply on Behalf’ service works. There are different versions of the flyers available for education agents applying offshore, for education providers and for students. Around one thousand applicants are applying for visas electronically every week through Immigration ONLINE. Expanded e Visa and Visa View services will be available from 7 December, 2015.
