There are 2 major Requirements to study nursing in New Zealand and they are academic and English language requirement. Academic Requirements to study nursing in New Zealand include having a degree in the medical background. For instance, international students who want to study Bachelor of Nursing in New Zealand must have completed their high school diploma with medical stream. The second requirement to study nursing in New Zealand include having 6.5 overall bands and 6.5 in each module; reading, listening, writing and speaking in the IELTS exam.

To meet the eligibility criteria, Indian students must have completed their 12th class studies in the medical stream and must have given the IELTS exam. Additional requirements include an SOP and an interview before the applicants get admission.

Wintec – Te Pūkenga
Being an undergraduate program Bachelor of Nursing at Wintec also comes under the Level 7 nursing courses in New Zealand. July and February are the main intakes of the program for international students and the annual tuition fees is NZD $23,600.
Apart from having a high school diploma in medical stream, international students must have given one of the following English language exams.

New Zealand Nursing Council registration requirements
