Description:
Wintec’s New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) (Level 6) is a qualification that has been designed by consulting the industrial people in order to provide the students with the techniques and skills from the point of view to apply in the real world. This two year diploma will give you the core knowledge and the practical skills which are required in the areas like industrial automation, consumer products and power industry. Wintec is offering a totally computer-based training and providing the tutors that will provide ultimate learning experience. Up-to-date equipment like Oscilloscopes, automation systems will be used by the students.
The first two years will be totally laboratory based on kinetic learning. The students have to study 9 compulsory modules which includes with elective modules:
- Engineering Fundamentals
- Engineering Mathematics
- Electrical and Electronic Principles
- specializations such as Power Engineering or Microcontrollers
Career Outcomes:
For the electrical engineering strand roles include working in power and building services infrastructure.

Academic
The students who’ve done their Bachelor’s Degree in the related field may apply for this diploma.
