Description:

After completion of diploma you will be able to:

  • Led Industry Practice 2 (Level 6) 30 Credits
  • Screen Arts 2 (Level 6) 15 Credits
  • Animation (Level 6) 15 Credits
  • Character Animation (Level 6) 15 Credits
  • Studio Drawing 2 (Level 6) 15 Credits

    Career outcomes:

    The aim of diploma is to provide skills to those who are aiming to work as assistant animators or creative in a studio environment with the basic animation knowledge required for entry level positions in 2D animation and 3D animation and gaming.

    Satisfactory Completion

    To complete the New Zealand Diploma in Animation (Level 5), and be certified this qualification the student must successfully achieve:

  • A minimum of 120 credits in accordance with the Programme schedule for the New Zealand Diploma in Animation (Level 6).
  • The student will be expected to finish the New Zealand Diploma in Animation (Level 6) full-time over 1 year or part-time over 2 years.

    Eligibility criteria

    Academic eligibility:

    Student must have completed 10+2 in any stream and must have evidence of creative work.

    English language proficiency score:

    1. IELTS score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5

    SPEAKING – 6.0

    READING – 5.5

    WRITING – 5.5

    LISTENING – 6.0

    1. TOEFL Score of 60 is required with a writing score of 18
    2. PTE required score is 50
