Description:

The program has been introduced for students who do not know anything about accounting before at university-level, but have a bachelor’s degree in another field, such as teaching, law or arts.

You can lunch your career in accounting in just 14 months. It provides the platform to start your way towards becoming a Chartered Accountant.

During the course, you will learn skills and knowledge in all fields of accounting and business, and be able to employ analytical thinking and problem-solving knowledge to practical accounting problems.

All of the papers are compulsory. You will know about accounting information systems, commercial and corporate law, auditing, taxation, finance, and economics for business.

Waikato’s degree is approved by three of the world’s largest professional accounting bodies – ACCA, CAANZ and CPA Australia.

Eligibility criteria

Academic eligibility:

Candidate must have done graduation.

English language proficiency score:

  1. IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0

Speaking, Reading, Writing and listening score required is 6.0

  1. TOEFL Score of 90 is required
  2. PTE required score is 65
