Is CLB 6 compulsory for Express Entry for Canada PR?

- Your skill/work experience should be under the National Occupation List level B.

- A valid job offer from a Canadian employer for a minimum period of 1 year is required.
- Further, your minimum age at the time of application should be 18 years and above.
- Adaptability factor which includes your spouse (if any) applying, family relations in Canada or arranged employment in Canada.
Additionally, you would be required to provide proof of finances which justify the fact that you will be able to support your stay in the province.

- Ensure you have minimum of post secondary education qualification. For your educational qualification you would need to obtain an Educational Credential Assessment.
- The Language Proficiency requirement is IELTS 6 in each reading, writing, listening and speaking which is CLB 7.
- Also your age at the time of applying should be 18 years.
- Adaptability factor which includes your spouse (if any) applying, family relations in Canada or arranged employment in Canada.
Once, you meet the basic requirements you need to score a minimum of 67 points for being eligible for assessment in express entry pool. Apart from this you would also be required to provide proof of funds in order to settle and support yourself for Canada PR.
For both the categories Federal Skilled trades worker and Federal Skilled Worker category in case your spouse or common in law partner is applying you can claim points for their language requirement, educational qualification and work experience under the adaptability factor.
