Description:
This course will boost knowledge and skills in creative media and digital film.
Students can use standard software to create film project. They can use skills linked with character animation and, depending on choices made, motion graphics and compositing, animation and interaction and audio methods. This Course helps students to further study or employment in the screen arts sector.
Career Outcomes:
Students are motivated to make critical approach to problems by using independent judgment and analytical thinking. Students of this course are motivated practitioners who are ready for life-long learning, with the need to improve their knowledge within a changing environment.
Course Structure:
Animation
Students will learn about the studio production pipeline technique and help management within a 3D production environment. They will also identify the technical and narrative needs of animation.
Character Animation
Students will be made to engage in critical analysis during the procedure of designing, developing and animating character within a limited time.
Studio Drawing 2
Students will build on the base of the first year drawing paper to boost and explore their observational, critical and creative skills. Students will use drawing tools in projects to expand the use of drawing. Students will judge the visual language that is used in historic and contemporary drawing methods to start to make their own ‘voice’.
Animation Project
Students will use their skills gained in earlier papers to work within a limited-driven studio production environment. Students will enhance time and management skills, while working on a self- directed animation project.
Project Management
Students will work in a team or group within a studio environment. Students will get a brief and form a group to produce and promote team driven project.
Advanced Animation Production
Students will boost animation methods and look the demands and research methods of a project to get the most effective, efficient result within the simulations and special effects field.
Satisfactory Completion:
In order to get graduate diploma, students must have been completed all required papers. The total credit value of the Graduate Diploma in Screen Arts (3D Animation) is 120 credits.
Eligibility criteria
Academic eligibility:
Students must have Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
English language proficiency score:
- IELTS score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5
- TOEFL Score of 60 is required with 20 in writing
- PTE required score is 50
