Description:
The NSIA Diploma in Culinary Arts of Level-5 is designed to provide the students with the culinary skills of advanced level. This course is also meant to inculcate the management skills and knowledge that a student will be applying in the kitchen to an applied level with certain range of high culinary disciplines which includes working in the hot kitchen, cold larder, managing the food-beverage services, HR Management, leading the team and focusing on the menu and design of the kitchen along with it.
In this course, a student will be having his practical skills in the areas of:
- Advanced Culinary Skills
- Operational and HR management
- Nutrition and Health-Safety Management of the Food
- Design and Production System Maintaining
- Dealing and Deciding the Cost
- Menu Design
- Learning the Cultural and Regional Cuisines
- Understanding the requirements of Culinary Products
Content of the Course:
First Year: Study the course content of the NZ Certificate in Cookery Level-4
Second Year: Study the Course Content of the NZ Diploma in Cookery Advanced Level-5

Academics
The students having culinary/baking skills and experience in the same with their 10+2 completed are eligible to pursue Diploma in Culinary Arts from NSIA.

- IELTS Academic Score: Overall Band Score of 5.5 not less than 5.0.
