Description:
Recognised by the Midwifery Council of New Zealand, 3 years degree is offered at ARA to make the students in developing core skills of delivering a baby. The degree includes the theory and practice content carried out over 45 weeks of delivery per year. The students will have the opportunity to see at least 25 women throughout their midwifery care and facilitate 40 births in a variety of maternity settings.
The knowledge of practice skills, nutrition, lactation and bioscience foundations will be given to the students along with making them deeply aware about the psychological, emotional, spiritual, social, cultural and support that women needs while she’s pregnant and after that.

Students who have completed their 10+2 in the science stream (biology) may apply for the Bachelors in Midwifery at ARA.
English Proficiency Score:
- IELTS :7 Overall Bands
- TOEFL (pBT) – Score of 640 (with an essay score of 6 TWE)
- TOEFL (iBT) – Score of 94 or higher (with a writing score of 24)
- Pearson Test of English :64 or above
