Description:
The Bachelor of Engineering with Honors (BE(Hons)) in Software Engineering at Waikato will teach you the use of scientific approach with discipline to design and develop the complex software systems. The students will learn to deal and operate such systems. The students will made to understand the reliable processes and related formal methods. The systematic techniques will be taught to test the software systems and the skills will be developed through which the students will be able to prove safety-critical systems which are needed to operate correctly under any condition possible. The students will be made to work different range of software systems from OS to networks, learn about the parallel and distributed systems. The skills related to scientific applications, business approach and engineering will also be inculcated. The degree of Waikato emphasis mainly upon the interaction between systems and humans.
