Engineering technologists works on the practical-structure design and applied technology.. The Bachelor of Engineering Technology at AUT prepares the students for diverse range of careers in engineering. AUT’s degree of engineering is accredited by Engineering New Zealand. The students get skills to make judgements over the structures, solve problems and design the structures for sustainability. The students develop skills to communicate at every level formal or informal in order to deal with the people.
The Building Engineering major in the Bachelor of Engineering Technology focuses on values and building surveying technology, facilities management, and construction safety engineering.
The students may opt for any of the one out of three:

- Building Surveying Technology
- Construction Safety Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:
Academic
Students who have passed in 10+2 in mathematics, physics are eligible for the Engineering programme at AUT.
English Proficiency Score
- IELTS 6.0 overall score no less than 5.5
- TOEFL iBT score of 80
- PTE minimum overall score of 50.
