Industry partners like Weta Workshop, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, Auckland Art Gallery, Creative New Zealand and Kate Sylvester have put their strong input in forming the AUT’s creative and practical Bachelor of Design. The students pursuing the degree have access to world-class facilities and may collaborate with students of other art and design. In the end year, you get to showcase your work at the AUT Rookie fashion show or AUT school of Art and design.
Communication design basically upon focuses on the development of ideas and messages visually. At AUT, through major in communication and design, the students examine the concepts of visual design from modern to historical by doing projects from the relevant areas in the related industries. Along with getting chance to meet the professional designers, one may also get the opportunity to work on design in real as part of the study. The key feature of the degree is to cover a range of tools and materials for digital and print media.

All the applicants should have completed their 10+2 and they must have amateur portfolio of art work.
English Proficiency Score:
- IELTS 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent
- TOEFL iBT score of 90
- PTE minimum overall score of 58.
