The Supply Chain Management has recently been added in the program list of Bachelor of Business Administration category of Cape Breton University. This prepares the students to deal with the newly accumulative challenges occurring in the companies in today’s networked economy at global level. This provides an insight to see the business as a complete systematically functioning business and they’re able to co-ordinate the process involved in the system of this business.
Here in the course one learns to deal with the managing of the materials produced, required and is needed to be distributed; keeping the eye on the supplier, retailer and the consumer or user. The key role of a Supply Management Professional is ensure the quantity and quality of the item supplied to its customer at right place in right quantity at right time. The students build the insight to understand the broader aspects of SCM and related Business Logistics.
