Education New Zealand and the eight universities of New Zealand came forward and initiated these New Zealand Excellence Awards for Indian students. These eight universities are the top-ranked universities in New Zealand, according to the QS Rankings 2024. These universities come under the top 3% of universities worldwide. An overall package of approximately NZ$320,000 is offered to the Indian students who are eligible, and they are given the opportunity to study at world-class New Zealand universities and also get a chance to live in a welcoming and multicultural society.

Eligibility Criteria for New Zealand Excellence Awards
- You need to be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
- You must meet Immigration New Zealand’s requirement for a student visa.
- The applicant must be living in India at the time of the application.
