The NZDE (Civil) has been developed by a national consortium of tertiary providers, in conjunction with industry, to prepare students for a career in the diverse field of civil engineering. A group of developers has worked collaboratively and consultatively to ensure that the qualification meets the needs of key stakeholders. The group comprised representatives from several Industry Training Organisations (ITOs), Tertiary Providers including MIT, and IPENZ.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    Academic

    Students who’ve done their 10+2 in mathematics (required) should apply NZ Diploma in Civil Engineering at MIT Level 6.

    English proficiency Score

    1. IELTS test: Academic score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5
    2. TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT): Score of 550 (with an essay score of 5 TWE)
    3. TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT): Score of 60 (with a writing score of 18
    4. Pearson Test of English (Academic): PTE (Academic) score of 50
