To pursue career as quantity surveyors in order to control project related values and keep everything on track. This is a perfect career for students who are interested in details – especially calculating and measuring. It’s similar to accounting but involves working on physical projects while construction of the projects. In this one needs to visit construction sites to examine the progress before releasing payments along with lots of official work. Skills of communicating and negotiating are important to ensure that everyone stays committed to the task at hand.
On this diploma one will learn about principles and methods of construction, building legislation, conflict management, contract conditions and administration, estimating material and labour costs, tender bidding, report writing and environmental sustainability, and building economies.
Mentoring: The institution, in collaboration with the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors, provides a mentoring programme for the students. This gives proper and full insight as Quantity Surveyor.

Academic
Students who have completed their 10+2 (open entry).
English Proficiency Score:
- IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with not less than 5.5
- TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) score of 60 or higher (with a writing score of 20)
- TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT) score of 550 (with an essay score of 5.0 TWE);
- PTE (Academic) score of 42 with no band score lower than 36.
