Description:
This course will help you to work in the aquaculture industry and create a way towards management.
There is a heavy requirement of qualified people who can work in the aquaculture industry. You’ll learn skills required in aquaculture.
During the course you will avail the chance of one field trip a week and experience work placements. You will also become known to some aquatic species biology, aquatic ecology, managing people in the workplace and business management.
The course is practical and helps you to get out into industry quickly and with a qualification. This programme was introduced after discussion with New Zealand industries like King Salmon, Sealord, Aquaculture New Zealand and Marine Farming Association of NZ.
Career Outcomes:
After the completion of course you will be able to join the aquaculture team as operators and technicians.
Moreover, you will be able to judge fin fish and shellfish, know how to set up and manage aquaculture systems, and how to best lead an aquaculture team.
You may also go on to future study such as a degree in Aquaculture and Marine Conservation.

Academic eligibility:
10+2 in medical/ non-medical
English language proficiency score:
- IELTS score of 5.5 with no less than 5
- Speaking, Reading, Writing and listening score required is 5
- TOEFL Score of 46 is required with a writing score of 20
- PTE required score is 42
